Several times a year in a rural warehouse near Weyers Cave (between Staunton
and Harrisonburg) is the Green Valley Book Fair. This little known secret
for years is not so little anymore. Over 500,000 fiction and non-fiction books
line the rows of shelving. These aren’t just out of date copies but
current overruns as well. Computer books that sell for $50 to $75 can be had
for as little as ten bucks.
If you are a cookbook collector, beware! Missing a volume in the Southern
Living Annual Collection, then you will more than likely be able to complete
your collection here!
